I received my photography education at the Milwaukee Area Technical College during the early 1960's and went to work for a small commercial studio in Milwaukee. Within a year, I was called by a previous employer to join them in a career with the business world, but continued with my photography as a part-time business for 30 or so years.

I returned to a full-time business in the early 1990's with a portrait studio first in Hales Corners and then in Mequon. I down sized that business in 2007 and again in 2010 and relocated now in Glendale.

Fine art... is described as a thing of beauty, created by and for the artist. A key element of fine art is “originality” – something that hasn’t been done before. A piece of fine art will also display “intellectual ownership” – something that has a specific meaning to the artist. Fine art implies we should feel something about the work and the artist.
